The Liverpool Sports Development website is specifically designed to deliver a comprehensive guide to sporting activity in the city. 

Liverpool has a strong and vibrant Sports Development section which provides participation opportunities for all sectors of the community and structured pathways for talented individuals. 

The section also organises a comprehensive programme of sports events which promote the City of Liverpool in a positive way. 

Based in the heart of the city centre, the unit works in partnership with many organisations dealing with a wide range of sports which have been prioritised for action; as well as tackling some of the broader issues such as social inclusion and the promotion of healthy lifestyles.
