Liverpool has always been at the forefront of gymnastics development, having produced a host of outstanding international champions, including world silver medallist Neil Thomas, and Commonwealth Games Gold medallist and Beth Tweddle.

Coaching sessions are held at many of  the city's sports centres, from where talented youngsters may advance to receive specialist training at  Park Road Gymnastics Centre, one of the finest centres of excellence in the country.
