Badminton is a sport enjoyed by many of Liverpool residents from children barely taller than their rackets, to expert players representing England at both junior and senior levels, and includes senior citizens with more than half a century of participation in the game.

Badminton is played in the City's sports centres, schools, youth clubs, church halls and community centres and is the most popular 'dry sport' in all the city's sport facilities.
