Karate KickKarate is an excellent form of fitness which anyone can take part in. It's a great way to learn self defence and improve fitness. 

With it's roots set firmly in Japanese history, karate teaches self-development and respect whilst those involved move through different grades to earn belt at each level. 

Generally karate is structured into 3 elements Kihon (techniques), Kata (combinations of moves) and Kumite (sparring). This combination makes it fun and challenging to get and stay fit.
