The Liverpool Waterpolo Team is a section of the City of Liverpool Swimming Club. There are opportunities for both male and female players of all ages to train and compete in local, regional and national leagues and events.

At the present time the city has teams competing in the Liverpool & District, Northern Counties and National Leagues. Juniors compete at U16 and U19 age groups.

Several members of the club have gained representative honours at Regional and International level, including both junior and senior teams. 

Most of the players began playing the sport as juniors (U15) in the Merseyside Youth Games.

Beginner lessons for swimmers aged 12 and above for the Liverpool Youth Games are held from March to July each year.
